Golden Guardians Break Ground on New Facility
GOLDEN GUARDIANS BREAK GROUND ON NEW FACILITY
State-of-The-Art Facility Includes Warriors Esports Business Offices, Training Facility, and Creative Studio
SAN FRANCISCO – The Golden Guardians (GG), an esports affiliate of the Golden State Warriors, have broken ground on a new facility, it was announced today. The 10,742 square-foot facility is located in Playa Vista, a neighborhood in the west side of Los Angeles, and will house the Warriors esports business offices, a state-of-the-art training facility for players and coaches, and a full creative studio buildout. The facility is set to open in the Fall of 2022.
“Our new esports facility will have a significant positive impact the development of our competitors,” said Warriors Head of Esports Hunter Leigh. “The investment in a state-of-the-art headquarters in Los Angeles speaks to the Warriors’ long-term dedication to growing esports and supporting our players every way possible. I cannot wait for construction to be complete and to offer these amenities to our team.”

Within the training facility, Golden Guardians League of Legends, Super Smash Bros. Melee, and World of Warcraft competitors will have access to a training room, film room, player lounge, team operations office, and full kitchen, with additional space available for future expansion.
The creative studio, which includes a filming set, green screen, and editing bays, will provide competitors and staff the space and equipment to record and edit high quality content.
